Gilfach Goch

We offer two options for your holiday accommodation: A luxurious Barn Conversion, Ty Gwenol, sleeping from 2 to 8 and Gilfach Goch, a traditional 400 year old Grade II listed farm cottage that sleeps 5. This 4 and 5 star retreat is the perfect place to unwind, tucked away in a secluded spot with breathtaking views of Snowdonia’s mountains and coast. It is located on the coast in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. Gilfach Goch Farm is an original 400 year old traditional 60-acre Welsh hill farm with sheep and cattle. The farm and the farm buildings are Grade 2 listed buildings and described as "a good example of a smaller regional farmhouse, part of an unspoilt farmstead". The farm is sheltered and secluded nestling into the hillside with panoramic views over the sea and the Lleyn Peninsular. It is approached along a 1/2 mile private shale drive. Yet it is only a mile from the village of Llanbedr, one of the prettiest villages on the Snowdonia coastline and 10 minutes from the beaches, and the famous Harlech Castle.

Malcoff Farmhouse

Grade II listed farmhouse sleeping 11+1. Situated in the rural hamlet of Malcoff approx. 2 miles outside Chapel-en-le-Frith, it is ideally situated to explore this area of the Peak District. Kinderscout, Castleton and Edale are close by and there are spectacular walks from the farmhouse door. The accommodation is full of original features, with 5 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both with bath and shower), 2 sitting rooms, dining kitchen with AGA, dining room, utility room and downstairs cloakroom, outside sitting area and large garden. There is an original working open fired range in one sitting room, a log burner in the other and a working Georgian fireplace in the dining room. There are 2 TVs, one being a large flat screen with surround sound system, CD and DVD player. A BBQ and outside dining furniture are provided and there is plenty of external storage. Tarn Flatt cottage has a cliff-top location on St. Bees Head Heritage Coast. Panoramic views of the Solway and Scottish coastline. Quiet location close to the historic port of Whitehaven. Tarn Flatt is a working farm which includes St Bees lighthouse, RSPB bird reserve on the 100 metre cliffs and access to Fleswick Bay, a secluded single cove. There is also climbing, and boulders at the base of the cliff are superb. The area is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. St Bees with its sandy beach is 3 miles away or can be easily reached along the coastal path, which is part of the famous Coast to Coast walk.
