Information for Walkers

The Lake District offers a wonderful range of high quality walking in superb scenery. Windermere is perfectly located and provides a good base for exploration. The southern half of the Lake District National Park is within an easy drive whilst even the remotest sections of Lakeland are accessible with time for a full day of walking.

One of the great benefits of the Lake Dsitrict is the wide range of walks that can be completed from easy lake side strolls to high mountain walks offering all the challenges one might expect.
