Contours Walking Holidays unique programme of guided and self-led walking holidays explore the "hidden corners" as well as the popular beauty spots of Britain. We offer a wide selection of holidays, ranging from gentle strolls to strenuous mountain hikes, from a few days to a few weeks, from Cornwall in the far south of the country to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland in the far north, with something for every type of walker, from the absolute beginner to the lifelong hiker.

Guided Walking Holidays

Our guided walking holidays provide the opportunity to explore Britain’s beautiful countryside in the company of a small group of people who share similar interests. Our groups are small, never more than 12 people plus the walks leader. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. There is a mix of ages, of new clients and "regulars" from Britain and overseas, and of couples, friends and people travelling singly. All our walks leaders are experienced, mostly local, enthusiasts who provide thoughtful, safe and informative leadership at all times. Every holiday is graded so that you can choose the one most suited to your fitness and previous walking experience.

We offer two types of guided walking holidays:

Single Centre Guided Walking Holidays

Single centre holidays use comfortable country hotels as a base for exploring the surrounding countryside. Every hotel we use has been carefully chosen for its fine location, comfort, warmth of welcome and attractive meals.

There are 14 locations to choose from:

Pembrokeshire

Snowdonia

Isle of Skye

Yorkshire Dales
