Buttermere

Photo 100 - Lake District

This was taken Saturday 16th August 2003 at the bottom end of Buttermere, looking towards Hay Stacks and Scarth Gap. It was 7.30 in the morning and clear blue skies, no wind, and no haze - what a day! Shortly after taking this, my friend and I climbed Fleetwith Pike (via Fleetwith Edge), carried on to Grey Knotts and Brandreth, then up to Hay Stacks.
