The Pembrokshire Coast Path was the first long distance path in Wales. Perhaps less well-known than many other national trailas, it offers a wide variety of scenery from sandy beaches to rugged cliffs. As with all the Trailblazer Guides, you get the felling the author has actually been there and done it. All too often guides appear written by some editor unconnected to the real world. This is definately not the case with this book. The content includes public transport services (bus and train) and a dedicated transport map showing access points that makes the guide an indispensible tool for day walkers or those who like to complete a national trail in bite-sized stages. Added to the logistical information there are places to stay, where to eat and details of the flora and fauna that are likely to be encountered along the path.
