Your attention is drawn to the change in email address.

The problem of spam has been growing steadily in recent months. On some days the Walking Britain email inbox sees over 500 emails selling all kinds of unwanted junk and services. With the spammers getting ever more clever the info@ box will cease to exist from midnight on 31st May 2007. The replacement contact form is already live and should be used with immediate effect.

This revised method of contact will lessen the chances of spam arriving in the inbox and will enable more effective control of spamming in the future. The change in approach means the Walking Britain email address will never appear anywhere on the site except in a format that the spam robots cannot understand. Hopefully this will lessen the time spent checking through emails to identify those worthy of reading and allow more time to read and respond to those with more worthwhile content.

So from now on please use the Contact Form reached by using the navigation buttons on the left. This form will have mail in my inbox much more quickly and reliably than any other form of email service. Please use heading that relate to the content as it will help me get through the growing number of emails that arrive each week.
