Date - 24 Jul 2008 Keeping your legs fit for walking is as important as general fitness. These new sandals are designed to improve those all important leg muscles for those days in the hills. Now this might be a strange concept, but with a new sandal on the market, it’s actually possible to improve your training regime for long walks by simply wearing a different kind of sandal. The makers of Fit Flops boast that their sandals are fat burners, and help you keep in shape just by using them to walk in. But how does that help the average walker I hear you ask? Well…If you can stick to wearing these special shoes, for everyday use, you can work out many of the muscles that you will help you walk for longer, and further when it’s time for a real expedition. I’m not saying that you should use these shoes for walking on the hills, but it could be beneficial for you to train in a pair, making sure you are properly prepared for whatever the hills have to throw at you.
