Foxworthy Farmhouse B&B is situated in a remote location, ideal for walkers, within a hamlet in the Dartmoor National Park, where a warm welcome awaits you from hosts, Chris & Liz.

Foxworthy Farmhouse offers one double bedroom (ensuite) with french doors to its own garden patio and intercommunicating lounge/diner with wood burner, TV, and a window seat from which you can admire the garden and views to the wooded vale; listen to the sound of birdsong and the tumbling river below.

Breakfast is based on local produce where possible including sumptuous eggs from our own Foxworthy Farmhouse hens. Packed lunches are available on request. Special diets are catered for by prior arrangement. There are several local pubs ideal for lunch or dinner situated in Manaton, North Bovey, Lustleigh, Moretonhampstead, and Widecombe where we can reserve a table for you if you wish.

The unique location of Foxworthy allows you to explore from your doorstep. With in easy reach are woodland, moorland and river habitats each with its unique wildlife and protected in this special conservation area.

Information for Walkers

The Dartmoor National Park offers some of the finest walking in the South West of England. With a wide variety of terrain varying from wild open moorland to pleasant riverside locations there are walks to suite everyone. The extensive network of footpaths is generally well-maintained and signposted making it easy to explore the hidden corners of this beautiful National Park.
