Photo Gallery - Panoramas

The British countryside is varied and full of detail. It can only be appreciated if you take the time to look around you. In the valleys, hills and mountains there is often so much to see that we miss much of what is laid out so perfectly for us to appreciate. Even on the wildest section of moorland, where interesting detail is often at a premium, the important impression of space under a large sky is hard to describe in words or a single photograph.

With the benefit of digital cameras it is possible to broaden the pictorial content of your photos using a series of overlapping frames to build up a wider panorama. The following examples are hoped to inspire you to do likewise and take a wider look at the wonderful British countryside. In addition there are some single frame pictures suitable for "letter-box" format.
