Panorama 004 - Tarn Crag

The rarely visited moors of eastern Lakeland do not have the rocky character of the better known peaks further west in this wonderful National Park. This view taken from the slopes of Tarn Crag looks south. The rounded dome of Grey Crag is prominent in the centre with the ridge running left to Harrop Pike. Just in from the right hand side of the frame is the beautiful valley of Longsleddale heading south towards the regional centre of Kendal - home of the famous mint cake!
