This single wide frame was taken from the derelict jetty alongside
Loch Etive at the end of the superb dead-end road which leads to the Loch from
the main A82 trunk above Glen Coe. Just off the right hand side of the frame is
Ben Starav, a magnificent Munro dropping directly into the sea. A feature which
enables you to appreciate its height. A lonely almost uninhabited part of Scotland
this is a perfect place to be even if you haven't the time or energy to climb
the mountains. In the distance can be seen the peaks on the southern side of the
A82, which dominate any drive along this superbly scenic stretch of main road.
