Despite the lack of Autumn sunshine this scene is full of interest and colour. Taken from the Portway, the track running north east on the left hand side of the frame, the true nature of the Long Mynd plateau can be seen. The valley in the centre of the frame is Carding Mill with the shapely outline of Caer Caradoc beyond.
