Taken on an ascent of Ingleborough from Chapel le dale, Souther Scales limestone pavement fills the left foreground of this panorama. In the centre Whernside, one of Yorkshire's Big three, shows off its true shape with Ribblehead viaduct completing the picture. Rather surprisingly the viaduct is not overwhelmed by the scale of the landscape.
