Panorama 103 - The Nantlle Ridge

Three great summits of Snowdonia are featured in this picture and many will find it difficult to name more than one. The mountain to the right is Mynydd Mawr whilst the pointed prow to the left is Y Garn with Mynydd Drws-y-coed to its left. These are two most northerly peaks of the Nantlle Ridge. The lake just visible in the middle distance is Llyn y Gader. This is located beside the A4085 just to the south of Rhyd-Ddu village, which also provides the starting point and name for one of the less popular paths to Snowdon's summit.
