Crib Goch is on many people's "wanted" list. This picture, taken from Lliwedd Bach across Llyn Llydaw, shows the true stature of this mountain with the pinnacles at the western end clearly in view. Away to the left Snowdon is hidden by cloud, which is pouring over Bwlch Ciliau. The prominent path climbing above the waters of Llyn Llydaw is the Miner's Path - a popular route for ascending Snowdon from Pen-y-pass. No so obvious, the Pyg Track can be seen roughly half way up Crib Goch and this is also a popular route to and from Snowdon's summit.
