The northern edges of the Kinder Scout plateau see fewer walkers than on the southern edges. This view take from near Fairbook Naze looking east is typical with the peat hags to the right typical of the moorland terrain in this area. Out of view but away to the left is the Snake Inn on the A57 Sheffield to Glossop road.
