Descending from the 'hole in the wall' into Grisedale with Place Fell the dominant fell just left of centre. To the right are the flanks of St Sunday Crag. The stand of conifers right of centre are at Elmhow and the "Elmhow zigzags" can be seen clibing the fellside. This is a useful route onto St Sunday Crag.
