Taken from the lakeside on 30th December 2001. The sun sets over the western Lakeland Fells with Derwentwater acting as a mirror for the snow topped mountains. Had the lake been ice-free then the reflection would have been better! The sun is setting just to the left of Robinson. To the right of the frame the knuckled top of Causey Pike is in view whilst Castle Crag, the lowest of the "Wainwrights", can be seen in Borrowdale towards the left of the frame.
