Malham Cove is one of the "wonders" of Yorkshire and is visited by many people each year. My first visit was many years ago on a geology field trip from school and I remember being very impressed even in those days of adolescent cynicism! A wet day in winter is the quietest time to visit although the limestone blocks can be extremely slippery.
