The Western Moors of the Peak District in winter. Shutlingsloe
(with the pointed summit cone), Macclesfield Forest and the flank of Shining Tor
seen from the path that runs up from the Cat & Fiddle to the highest ground
in Cheshire (Shining Tor). Look closely and you can see the Welsh hills in the
distance (make that very closely - they're about 3 pixels high on this photo!),
the clearest I've ever seen them from the Cat and Fiddle though the intervening
Cheshire plain remained shrouded in mist all day.
