The view was taken from Glasfynydd Forest (SN 860240) in the Brecon Beacons looking south-east towards Fforest Fawr with the central Beacons beyond. To the right is Fan Gyhirych, then Fan Nedd (both in Fforest Fawr) then Pen Milan (central Beacons) with Pen y Fan just appearing above it below the clouds.
