Maes Coch , near Dolgellau

Situated on a working sheep farm, Maes Coch Cottage is lovely and secluded amidst the slopes of the Cader Idris range. This character cottage is cosy with all modern facilities.

The cottage has oil central heating, all fuel and power included in rent, bed linen and towels included in rent, colour TV, DVD player, stereo/CD player, washing machine. There is ample parking, and an outside patio and BBQ area. There are glorious views from just above the cottage.

Information for Walkers

From the cottage you can walk up Mynydd Moel and Cadair Idris. This cottage is a perfect base for walking, cycling, climbing and bird watching or just come and relax amidst the wonderful scenery.

The proximity of Cadair Idris offers the potential for a wide range of walks from lowland strolls offering views of this great mountain or more challenging routes to its summit. Additionally other peaks that are part of this range also offer excellent walking.

Dolgellau is an excellent base for exploring other parts of the Snowdonia National Park and it is possible to visit all corners of this wonderful area. Snowdon, the Glyders and the Rhinogs are all possible places to visit and offer a wealth of walking opportunities.
