On this quiet and beautiful upland farm, woodland and streamside walks, a hard tennis court and trout lake are to be enjoyed as are the extensive gardens surrounding our three comfortable stone cottages. Furnished in old pine, with well equipped kitchens, tiled bathrooms with showers, double and twin bedrooms in each. Open all year. Your cottage is fully prepared with linen, towels and toilet requirements. We can have a Derbyshire breakfast in your frig. if ordered in advance, to give you a superb start to a days walking.

Information for Walkers

Bamford is located in the Hope Valley, which occupies a central position in the Peak District National Park. Shatton hall farm therefore provides walkers with easy access to both White and Dark Peak areas with an amazing variety of walks to suit people of all abilities. Nearby Win Hill provides the basis for an energetic climb with rewarding views over Ladybower Reservoir and Edale. For those who prefer more relaxed excursions then walks of varying lengths are available throughout the immediate area with a choice of Gritstone or Limestone scenery adding variety and interest. 

Winter weeks and 'short breaks' are available.
