Photo 029 - North York Moors

Whitby Abbey

Not an average scenic photograph with the multitude of greys and greens! This picture of Whitby Abbey was taken late afternoon whilst completing a windy and rainy walk along the coastal path from Robin Hood's Bay. However, it captures everything which I think is synonymous with walking in the UK. The rapidly changing weather; clouds that look like mountains; the ever changing light; wind swept flat cliff tops and a ruined abbey perfectly fitting into the landscape.
