The Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire, near Berkhamsted, provides the basis for this woodland walk. Managed by the National Trust, the Ashridge Estate is at its best in early May, when the bluebells and cowslips are in bloom. An easy route with only one steepish climb it is a pleasant way to spend a few hours. Suggested Maps It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route. The preferred scale is 1:25000 used by the Explorer series.
