This Swaledale walk starts at Surrender Bridge and continues to Gunnerside before. The walk returns via Old Gang smelt mill. This Yorkshire Dales route is full of interest concentrating on the Industrial heritage of Upper Swaledale. Mine ruins, moorland and village life are all part of this excellent excursion.
