Wild Boar Fell and Swarth Fell overlook Mallerstang and provide the basis for an excellent walk in Cumbria. Starting from Cotegill Bridge alongside the Settle and Carlisle Railway, the walk crosses a limestone pavement before reaching higher ground. Views are excellent throughout.
