Blencathra is a mighty Lake District mountain and this walk starting from Scales Farm ascends Hall's Fell ridge. Hall's Fell ridge offers some scrambling opportunities and provides a challenging way to the summit of Blencathra with its wide ranging views of the Lakeland fells.
