The Dorset village of Kimmeridge is the starting point for this walk. Following the South West Coast Path the route passes the oil derricks before climbing onto Gad Cliff. A descent to the deserted village of Tyneham provides a good place for pic-nic before returning along country paths a short way inland from the coast.
