Walk 1952 - Five Rise Locks and the River Aire, Bingley

The waterways, canal and river Aire, of Shipley near Bradford are the focus of this walk. The route includes a look at the once dominant woollen mills together with the Five Rise Lock where the Leeds and Liverpool canal rises dramatically in a steep series of locks.
