The Clwydian Hills are one of the highlights of northeast Wales and form a well defined ridge which is followed by the Offa’s Dyke Path National Trail. Starting from the village of Cilcain the route generally uses well defined paths and tracks to explore some of the highest sections on the ridge. Choose a clear day and you can see to the high summits of the Snowdonia National Park.
