This walk explores the Shropshire countryside around Ellesmere. The walk includes a lengthy section of the Llangollen Canal. Unique to this area are the many natural lakes dotted across the countryside and this walk passes by three of the larger lakes or meres - The Mere, Cole Mere and Blake Mere.
