This North Pennine route starts from the Cumbrian village of Kirkland. The route takes you onto the highest land in the Pennines and includes Cross Fell and Great Dun Fell on this invigorating circuit. The walks also includes a section of the Pennine Way.
It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route. The preferred scale is 1:25000 used by the Explorer series.
