This is a circular walk on the summit of the South Downs and for the whole circuit there are wide views over the hills and folds of this beautiful area. Often there is a 360 degree panorama and with comparatively little woodland this is truly a big sky landscape. The route passes close to two Iron Age hill forts which can be explored more thoroughly with slight detours. Suggested Maps It is recommended you take a map with you when following a walk route. The preferred scale is 1:25000 used by the Explorer series.
Note : If two maps are listed at the same scale then either (a) both are required for full coverage of the route or (b) the route is covered on both maps.
