The Rhinog mountains in central Snowdonia are known for their rugged walking. However there is respite from boulders and heather especially on the southern part of the range. This view taken from near the grassy summit of Y Llethr shows the dramatic location of Llyn Hywel which nestles in the lee of Rhinog Fach.
