The summit of Y Lliwedd is a grand vantage point especially when free from cloud. On this occasion the cloud base was just below the summit yet there was still a fine view eastward with Llyn Llydaw in the foreground with Llynnau Mymbyr, near Capel Curig, just visible in the distance.
