Green fields edged with hedges help provide the unique character of the English countryside. Taken near Wheddon Cross in the Exmoor National Park, this view shows the wonderful ruichness of colour even in high summer with a patchwork of fields covering the undulating hills. In the distance can be seen the open moors near Dunkery Beacon.
