Level House Bridge has undergone some restoration work in keeping with the importance of the industrial archaeology of the area. Old Gang Smelting Mill is located just over a kilometre downstream from this spot. This bridge together with an extensive network of tracks formed the basic infrastructure that helped sustain mining in this area.
