The river Yealm is one of England's most picturesque rivers

The river Yealm (pronounced Yam) is one of England's most picturesque rivers lined for most of its length by oak woodland. This picture looks downriver and is taken from the foot ferry landing (open from May to September). Our route follows the river to its mouth at Cellar beach.
