By the old coastguard cottages above Cellar beach this stunning view of Wembury Bay appears. The island is the Mew Stone and the conical headland in the distance is Rame Head in Cornwall guarding the entrance to Plymouth Sound. The "carriage drive" skirts the south side of the bay before turning east along the open and exposed coast to Warren Cottage.
