Point Cottage on the tidal estuary of the river Plym

Point Cottage - This cottage on the tidal estuary of the river Plym marks the western boundary of the estate. The photograph was taken at low tide from an old quay used to bring goods to Saltram in past times and the original residents of the cottage probably worked at the quay when boats were unloaded. The urban sprawl of Plymouth can be seen on the far bank of the river.
