Wetherlam summit is reached from Birkfell Hause by the ridge of Wetherlam Edge

Wetherlam Edge - Wetherlam summit is reached from Birkfell Hause by the ridge of Wetherlam Edge which is surprisingly dramatic after the easy walking up to this point. There are a number of rock steps to be climbed but nothing difficult. In mist the summit cairn is found by continuing straight ahead for 100 yards after the ridge levels out.
