Deep Gill exit cracks - These are perhaps the trickiest part of the route

Deep Gill exit cracks - These are perhaps the trickiest part of the route. They are very eroded and water action has produced undercut steps which are best climbed using a bridging technique with feet placed on the side walls. Tricky, but not difficult. Suddenly the angle eases and you are on the summit plateau just yards from Scafell Pinnacle and Pisgah.

Walk : Scafell from Wasdale Head

Hunter Original
So what makes Hunter so much better than all the other brands of wellington? While being very fashionable, they’re a good general use boot that’s comfortable and functional.

Caterpillar Colorado
The classic Caterpillar Colorado style caught my eye. Having worn them for a solid month, I have found them to be a fantastic pair of boots that are very tough.
