From the summit of Catbells can be seen the tiny village of Little Town in the Newlands Valley. This village was where Mrs Tiggywinkle, the hedgehog, lived in the children's stories by Beatrix Potter. I was hit by a sudden hailstorm as I prepared to take this photograph!
