From the top of the "band" on Great End is this majestic view of Great Gable and its little brother Green Gable separated by Windy Gap. The Napes ridges high on the left flank of Gable are where the sport of rock climbing began in the 19th cent. with an ascent of Napes Needle (not visible at this distance).
