Scafell Pike seen just over a mile to the south west from Great End

Scafell Pike seen just over a mile to the south west from Great End. It is actually the peak on the right. Ill Crag, on the left, appears higher because it is nearer. In late autumn, when this picture was taken, the summits had just received their first dusting of snow.

Photographer : John Paterson

Walk : Great End via the north west face from Seathwaite
