The old signal box at Hartington station

The old signal box at Hartington station. The station, like many, was a fair way from the village. It was a very busy station with many excursion trains bringing walkers to the area from many Midlands cities as late as the early 1960s. The sign was originally located on the platform and lists Dove Dale, Beresford Dale and the Manifold Valley as the key attractions for walkers.

Hunter Original
So what makes Hunter so much better than all the other brands of wellington? While being very fashionable, they’re a good general use boot that’s comfortable and functional.

Caterpillar Colorado
The classic Caterpillar Colorado style caught my eye. Having worn them for a solid month, I have found them to be a fantastic pair of boots that are very tough.
