The ascent up the east ridge onto Crib Goch is relatively straightforward and can be made as easy or difficult as you wish. This view taken a few metres from the eastern end of the arręte clearly shows the route of the Pyg Track from the buildings at Pen-y-pass to Bwlch y Moch. In the far distance can be seen Llynnau Mymbyr at Capel Curig.
