The summit of Pen Llithrig y Wrach offers a dramatic view into the valley occupied by Llyn Cowlyd. On the south side of this large reservoir is the ridge that rises to the summit of Creigiau Gleision with its very distinctive band of white quartz (useful for navigation) clearly visible.
