The Aqua Hotel is a family run sea-side Hotel in Shanklin, one of the Isle of Wight’s most popular sea-side resorts. It offers good service and quality accommodation. Situated on Shanklin seafront, the Hotel offers an ideal location for a beachside holiday or as a base for exploring many of the Isle of Wight's footpaths. Close to Shanklin Old Village, the hotel is conveniently close to the town which is just a 10 minute walk away via the Cliff Lift.

Holiday accommodation is offered in a selection of 22 bedrooms ranging in size from singles to family rooms. All bedrooms are No Smoking, have En-suite Facilities and feature Double Glazed Windows, Central Heating, Colour TV, Radio/Intercom, Baby Listening, fitted Hairdryers and Hospitality Trays. A number of these rooms also have spectacular sea views and some also have a balcony overlooking Shanklin Beach making the Aqua Hotel one of few to offer this splendid facility. All meals are taken in the elegant Boaters Restaurant which boasts a varied Menu and can accommodate up to 80 guests and offers diners an excellent view of Shanklin Bay and Seafront.

Walking in the area

The Isle of Wight has much to offer walkers from spectacular coastal paths to high level walks across the downs. In addition there are walks to suit all abilities from gentle seafront walks to full days hikes covering many miles. For walkers the highlights include the Needles, the dramatic coast around Shanklin and many other routes visiting picturesque villages and wide open countryside.
